Update

Good news: adrenal gland appears normal.
Bad News: more abdominal discomfort than ever before. difficulty managing pain. Much is due to problems in GI tract (urnation/defication). Drs are trying what they can. I will NOT try and go home tomorrow.

Thanks to all who gave up afternoons / evenings to be with me. Tonight, especially, thanks Anne B. for letting Roger come down from NYC just to visit and hang and help (he really is a big help!).

  1. Hey Dave, this is Karen Underwood. I have been praying for you constantly! Our Sunday School Class and Church have been praying for you too. Everyone asks me how you are doing and are truly concerned even though they don't know you. We are going through storms in our lives but God is faithful and will meet our daily needs. I love you and hope today is a better day!

  3. Dave - The Leonards are all thinking about you and praying that you will get home soon!! Hope you got some Prom photos - Caleb looked awesome and John said he was over the top on the gentleman stuff that he couldn't begin to compete. Of course he ate nothing at dinner but did a great job hiding some food in his napkin. We are praying for him tonight and know he will do a great job speaking at YL!! Blessings, Becca

  4. Dave,
i just wanted to write in again to say how much i wish i could visit you. every time i think of you i just have this picture of you jamming out with that bass at BRCC making that classic "Dave Ward bass face" (that rhymed!). haha. good times! i don't think there's a person in the world who can play the bass the way you do. there's something special about it. it's just well... you. something personal from you comes forth each time you play. it's cool. i want to fly back just to see it. :)

i hope you are feeling better and listening to lots of jazz.

    with love and prayers,
    david
